Continuing Education

A female physician in a white coat smiles and speaks with another female standing in front of her, whose back is toward the camera.

As part of its mission to provide comprehensive, patient-centered, culturally sensitive, compassionate and innovative health care of the highest quality to all, the UF College of Medicine includes Continuing Medical Education (CME) for practicing physicians among its educational components. The college provides avenues for the development and monitoring of medical student educational programs and faculty.

CME is designed to share the latest in medical knowledge and to teach new skills, both technical and patient-relationship skills while further developing existing skills.

Program evaluation and faculty development are designed to enhance faculty instructional and evaluative skills, as well as monitor and develop instructional programs.
