30-Minute Mentoring

Program Overview:

30-Minute Mentoring is a flexible, virtual program that connects UF College of Medicine students with alumni for short, meaningful conversations about careers in medicine. This low-barrier format makes it easy for alumni to give back—no long-term commitment or travel required—while providing students with valuable insights and guidance.

For the Fall 2025 semester, all mentoring sessions will take place via Zoom and will follow Eastern Standard Time (EST).

This is our first time offering the 30-Minute Mentoring Program — thank you for being part of the pilot! We’re starting small by opening it to a smaller group of medical students, with plans to expand. Based on alumni interest and student participation, we hope to grow the program over time and explore ways to include PhD students in future rounds.
